Scope of contracting: purification and electromechanical professional contracting, secondary distribution

Project highlights:as one of the 5 provincial major projects, the Baic Electronics Holding SK (Jiangsu) Project was jointly invested and constructed by BAIC Group, Beijing Electronics Holding, and South Korea's SK Inc., with a total investment of RMB 10 billion. Among it, the investment in the Phase I project is RMB 5 billion, aiming to build a plant of 107,000m2. 2 power battery pole piece production lines and 4 assembly and capacity grading and formation production lines have been built, with an annual production capacity of 7.5GWh. The high-end ternary batteries produced are safe and reliable with better performance and higher energy density.

This project introduces the advanced lithium battery production technology of South Korea's SK Inc., and has a unique lamination technology, which can ensure that the battery cells won't be twisted during the charging and discharging cycle, with longer battery life, higher safety, and broad market prospect. Moreover, it can effectively drive investment in the regional new energy vehicle industry chain and form an industrial agglomeration effect. It will inject new energy into the technological development of the domestic lithium battery industry, and improve the competitiveness of the industry.

The project covers an area of about 166,750m2, with a total building area of about 135,100m2 for industrial development, the main body of which is steel structure-frame structure. The company is responsible for the integration of the entire drying chamber (the environmental humidity is required to be less than 1% and the area is 7,800m2), including decoration, HVAC, electrical engineering, and piping. Through the implementation of this project, the company has accumulated similar construction experience in the lithium industry, which has made up for its lack of experience in the construction of large-area drying chambers.
